ST. PETERSBURG, June 11 (RAPSI, Mikhail Telekhov) – Homeless Victor Nikolayev was sentenced to 7 months in a penal colony for the false report of a bomb in the Russian Constitutional Court, the United press service of St. Petersburg courts told RAPSI on Thursday.

However, the man was released as he was held in detention during the term relevant to the sentence.

According to the indictment, on January 17, Nikolayev called to the emergency Service-112 and told an operator that the Constitutional Court’s building was mined.

During the hearing on a restrictive measure, Nikolayev said that did it because of depression.
