MOSCOW, July 2 (RAPSI) – Investigators seek to place ex-road police officer from Tatarstan Radik Badretdinov accused of rape of a student in detention, lawyer Andrey Suchkov told RAPSI Thursday.

According to the investigation, in February, traffic cop Badretdinov e-met with a young woman. Later, during their first meeting he committed a rape in his car. When he was found out, he escaped, the victim’s attorney said.

The former police officer has been searched for three months until his arrest.
