MOSCOW, August 27 (RAPSI) – A serviceman of the Russian Strategic Missile Forces has been put in detention on treason allegations, the Federal Security Service’s (FSB) press service reports.

The man has been arrested in Barnaul. 

He is suspected of transferring secret information to the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry. He could face up to 20 years in jail if convicted.

In late July, a serviceman of Black Sea Navy Fleet was arrested in Sevastopol and detained on similar allegations.
