MOSCOW, November 9 (RAPSI) – A criminal case was opened on Monday against common soldier Anton Makarov after three servicemen were killed at a military base in the Voronezh Region, the Investigative Committee’s press service reports.

According to investigators, on the morning of November 9, Makarov killed an officer using an axe, took his weapon and shot his comrades-in-arms. Two of them died, another one was injured and admitted to hospital.

The suspect escaped. Law enforcement officers are searching for him now.
