MOSCOW, November 10 (RAPSI) – An inspection of the Federal Tax Service has lodged a petition for bankruptcy of Russian Red Cross with the Moscow Commercial Court, according to court records.

The Community of Charity for the care of sick or wounded Russian Soldiers was created in Russia in 1867. Later, the association repeatedly changed its name. In 1992, the organization was named Russian Red Cross.
