MOSCOW, November 30 (RAPSI) - A member of the Council of Russia’s Federal Chamber of Lawyers has won the European Women of Legal Tech award in the category of Public services, policy and social sphere, RAPSI has been told in the Chamber’s press service.

According to a president of the award’s jury, Avakyan has received a record number of votes.

Avakyan has been awarded the prize for her work on the Commercial Case File in Russia’s judiciary and integrated bar data system project as well as her expert work on the creation of electronic justice in Armenia, the statement reads. 

The award encompasses a wide range of categories taking the women’s influence on different branches of law. Elena Avakyan has become a nominee in the category of Public Services, Policy and Social Sphere, the statement reads.

The Full State Counsellor 2nd Class of the Russian Federation Elena Avakyan has been a member of the Council of Russia’s Federal Chamber of Lawyers since 2019 and a member of the State Duma Financial Market Committee’s expert council for legal support of security paper market growth since 2018.
