MOSCOW, December 2 (RAPSI) – A taximan has received a 2-year suspended sentence for assault on an ambulance driver, the press service of Moscow’s Babushkinsky District Court has told RAPSI.
He has been also sentenced to 3-year probation after the suspended term is expired.
According to case papers, the cabman has intentionally blocked the way of the ambulance with flashing emergency beacon. Then he stopped at the turning, came to the ambulance driver with a knife, threatened him and struck him over head. The defendant pled not guilty.
