MOSCOW, December 9 (RAPSI) - The Moscow Directorate of Russia’s Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has fined Yandex company 150,000 rubles ($2,000) for distribution of inappropriate abortion advertising, according to a statement of the watchdog.
A similar fine has been also imposed on the medical centre On Clinic.
According to the FAS, a citizen has complained about the advertisement disseminated in the system Yandex. Direct. A following check conducted by a territorial body of the Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare in the clinic has also revealed breaches.
Such advertisement is prohibited by the Law on Advertising, the watchdog states.
