MOSCOW, January 18 (RAPSI) – The Justice Department at Russia’s Supreme Court informs RAPSI that it has notified federal courts of general jurisdiction and Judicial Department’s regional offices that they have available a technical capability for judges to obtain data on inheritance cases and send requests to notaries via an electronic service.

This capability was created due to special software, the Portal for Judges of the Unified Notary Information System, developed in the framework of an agreement between the Judicial Department and the Federal Notary Chamber.

The service permits judges of federal courts of general jurisdiction to find out information about inheritance cases opened by notaries and send to them requests to provide the respective data to courts; the measure is to facilitate the interaction process with regional notary chambers.
