MOSCOW, January 26 (RAPSI) – Moscow’s Lefortovsky District Court on Tuesday extended detention of physicist from the city of Tomsk Alexander Lukanin, who stands charged with treason, RAPSI learnt from the court’s press service.
He will stay detained until April 29.
On October 1, 2020, a court in Tomsk ordered Lukanin to be put in detention until November 29. However, the defendant was transferred to a Moscow detention centre.
Investigators believe the man furnished Russian secret scientific research results abroad.
