MOSCOW, January 28 (RAPSI) – Lyubov Sobol, an associate of Alexey Navany, has been apprehended on suspicion of breaching COVID-19 sanitary and epidemiological rules during an unauthorized rally held in Moscow on January 23, her attorney Vladimir Voronin has told RAPSI.

She has been arrested based on the eye-witness testimony, according to the lawyer.

Illegal walkouts in support of Navalny were held in Russia on January 23. 

According to police, coronavirus-positive persons ordered to isolation were identified among participants of the Moscow rally. A criminal case over violation of sanitary and epidemiological rules was opened over this fact.
