MOSCOW, February 4 (RAPSI) – Information that persons arrested during an unauthorized meeting in Moscow are being transferred to other regions, where they are to serve their administrative detentions, is not true, Russia’s Rights Commissioner Tatiana Moskalkova informs RAPSI.

Today, there are published numerous mass media reports alleging that the recently detained persons are to be transferred outside of Moscow and the Moscow region, she said adding that she personally clarified the matter with a First Deputy Interior Minister.

According to that officer, Moskalkova noted, the city penal facilities have sufficient capacity to accommodate all those sentenced to administrative punishments by courts; no transfers of detainees to other regions are planned.
