MOSCOW, February 5 (RAPSI) – A court in Russia’s Republic of Komi has sentenced a 34-year local resident to 8 years in prison for killing a magistrate judge, the Investigative Committee’s press service has told RAPSI.
Additionally, he has been ordered to pay 3 million rubles ($40,000) in compensation for moral harm to victims in the case.
According to the court findings, in November 2019, the defendant quarreled with the victim and shot the judge in the face.
