MOSCOW, February 8 (RAPSI) – The Moscow City Court will hear an appeal against house arrest imposed on Lyubov Sobol, the ally of Alexey Navalny who stands accused of violating anti-coronavirus sanitary norms during an illegal rally on January 23, on February 25, RAPSI was told in the Tverskoy District Court’s press service.
The court will also consider appeals against house arrest of another violator Oleg Stepanov, who is an employee of Navalny’s foundation, in late February.
Appeals against the restrictive measure imposed on the Pussy Riot member Maria Alyokhina and Navalny’s brother Oleg are set for February 18.
All four defendants are charged with violation of sanitary and epidemiological rules.
According to police, coronavirus-positive persons ordered to isolation were identified among participants of the Moscow rally. A criminal case over violation of sanitary and epidemiological rules was opened over this fact.
