MOSCOW, February 8 (RAPSI) – The First Cassation Court of General Jurisdiction considered around 60,000 appeals last year, RAPSI was told in the court’s press service on Monday.

According to the court’s Chairman Nikolay Podkopayev, judicial panels in general do the job of timely and proper consideration of criminal, civil and administrative cases despite the coronavirus restrictions.

The most part of complaints concerned civil cases (33,000). There were also about 14,000 criminal cases. During an average month civil judicial panels heard 135 complaints while criminal panels considered about 60 appeals.
