MOSCOW, March 29 (RAPSI) – The Sevastopol City Court on Monday sentenced a local woman to 12 years in penal colony for transfer of secret information to Ukrainian intelligency bodies, RAPSI has learnt from the court’s press service.

She was found guilty of treason.

According to the case papers, the woman born 1955 cooperated with the Ukrainian Defense Ministry’s Intelligence Agency. She collected information on an aviation regiment of the Black Sea Navy Fleet considered a state secret. The transfer of such information could be used against Russia’s security.
