MOSCOW, April 1 (RAPSI) — The border guards of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) directorate of the Novosibirsk Region have arrested sellers of fake PCR tests, which were bought by foreigners in order to enter the territory of the Russian Federation, the FSB Public Relations Center informs RAPSI on Thursday.
More than 1,000 forms of PCR certificates, 400 completed certificates, invitations, Russian and foreign currency totaling over 3 million rubles (about $40,000 at the current exchange rate), as well as a client base of foreigners intending to purchase forged documents were seized from the arrested persons, the statement reads.
FSB investigators have opened a criminal case under article 322.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (organization of illegal migration).
