MOSCOW, May 12 (RAPSI) — The border service of the Federal Security Service (FSB) has disrupted activities of a private medical clinic on the territory of Sheremetyevo Airport, which issued fake certificates for the entry of foreigners into the Russian Federation, according to the press service of the body’s Directorate for Moscow and Moscow region.
Border control officers at the Sheremetyevo international airport suppressed illegal activities related to the fabrication and sale of forged medical documents for the purpose of their further use by foreign citizens as grounds for entering the territory of the Russian Federation under the conditions of the current anti-epidemiological restrictions, the department said in the statment.
According to the FSB, more than 100 invitations for the provision of medical services were seized from the head of the clinic, there was also seized a client base of foreigners who were going to purchase forged documents.
Currently, this fact is under investigation, based on the results of which a procedural decision will be made, the statement reads.
