MOSCOW, May 14 (RAPSI) – Moscow’s Lefortovsky District Court on Friday granted parole to ex-officer of the Federal Security Service’s (FSB) Information Safety Center Dmitry Dokuchayev sentenced to 6 years in prison for treason, RAPSI was told in the court.
The Moscow District Military Court convicted the man in April 2019. His case was heard behind closed doors because of secrecy and under the special procedure, without examination of evidence and interrogation of witnesses, as the former security officer had pleaded guilty.
Dokuchayev was one of the defendants in a case against ex-chief of the operational control division of the FSB’s Information Safety Center Sergey Mikhailov sentenced to 22 years in high-security prison. Reportedly, Mikhailov gave the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation through intermedia information on the activity of Russian law enforcement against certain persons accused by the Americans of cybercrimes.
