MOSCOW, July 12 (RAPSI) — Probe launched into Sheremetyevo International Airport over queues at check in desks, the Interregional Transport Prosecutor's Office said in a statement. 

The inspection is carried out by the Moscow prosecutor for overseeing the compliance with the law on air and water transport, to which the heads of airlines and airports of the Moscow air hub have been sending information letters about the need to increase the number of employees who register passengers.

Basing on the results of the check, necessary measures are to be taken by prosecutors, according to the statement.

Taking into account the high tourist season, the prosecutor’s office has organized an onsite reception of citizens at the Sheremetyevo international airport on the issue of observing the rights of passengers, the body informs.
