MOSCOW, July 21 (RAPSI) — The Moscow City Court has reduced from 3.5 to 3 years in prison the sentence of Pavel Green-Romanov for assault on a National Guard officer at an unauthorized rally, the press service of the court told RAPSI. 

This April, the Moscow Meshchansky District Court sentenced Green-Romanov to 3.5 years behind bars.

Then the man was found guilty of the use of force against a representative of authority after he used pepper spray against a National Guard officer on January 31.

The defendant pleaded guilty as charged.
