MOSCOW, September 7 (RAPSI) — An official of civil aviation agency Rosaviatsia will go on trial for alleged negligence while registering an aircraft, according to a statement of the Investigative Committee.
The official, whose name is not indicated, in October 2019 received from a representative of OOO TECH INNOVATION a set of documents for registration of an aircraft. Realizing that the documents did not meet the mandatory requirements, the official carried out a legal examination of the lawfulness of transactions with the aircraft, failing to discover the fact that the aircraft was owned by another entity, the statement reads.
Investigators say that the actions of the official entailed a violation of the legitimate interests of the owner of the aircraft and contributed to the theft of the aircraft.
