MOSCOW, October 21 (RAPSI) – Five individuals were convicted of the rehabilitation of Nazism in Russia in the first six months of 2021, according to the official statistics of the Supreme Court’s Justice Department.
Three persons received fines ranging from 25,000 to 100,000 rubles ($1,400). One more defendant was given a fine in the amount of less than 25,000 rubles. The fifth convict was fined over 100,000 rubles.
Moreover, according to the Supreme Court’s Justice Department, in the first half of this year, two people were sentenced to long prison terms. The number of those convicted of treason reached eight.
