MOSCOW, July 14 (RAPSI) – Moscow’s Lefortovsky District Court has detained Valery Timofeyev, a defendant in a treason case, until September 12, the court’s press service has told RAPSI.

According to the media reports, the accused is a vice-president of the shipbuilding company Helsinki Shipyard Oy. However, the case is classified and there is no confirmation of this information.

The Criminal Code article on treason stipulates prison punishment ranging from 12 to 20 years.
