MOSCOW, July 15 (RAPSI) – Ex-top manager of Russian major digital service provider Rostelecom Andrey Levakov will stand trial on corruption-related allegations, RAPSI has learnt in the Investigative Committee’s press service.
The defendant stands charged with illegal use of monetized services and taking bribes on a large scale.
According to the investigation, between 2013 and 2019 Levakov holding senior positions in Center-Telecom and then in Rostelecom received monetized services and money in the amount of more than 15 million rubles (over $250,000) as bribes for organizing procurement of Chinese commercial accumulators.
His assets have been seized.
