MOSCOW, August 22 (RAPSI) - Moscow’s Lefortovsky District Court has ordered the detention of Libyan citizen Juan Fathi El Hadi as part of a case over illegal attempted export of technologies and materials for the creation of mass destruction weapon or its delivery systems, the court’s press service has told RAPSI.

The foreigner is to stay detained until October 21, the court has held.

On Monday, one more defendant in the case, businessman Alexander Nerush was also put in jail.

Last year, two persons were convicted in Russia on similar charges. However, they did not receive prison terms as punishment. One of the convicts was fined 800,000 rubles ($13,500).
