MOSCOW, September 14 (RAPSI) — The Supreme Court of the Russian Federation granted a move of the Prosecutor General's Office to recognize the Islamic Renaissance Party of Tajikistan as a terrorist organization and banned its activities in Russia, the press service of the court told RAPSI.

The hearings took place behind closed doors.

Last week, the Russian Supreme Court recognized three Ukrainian nationalist organizations as extremist ones: the Black Committee, the Volunteer Movement of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN, banned in Russia) and SICH-C14.
