MOSCOW, October 10 (RAPSI) – A terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge (Krymsky Bridge) has been masterminded by Ukraine’s security services, according to Chair of Russia’s Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin.

The attack’s organizers have been aided by foreign and Russian citizens, Bastrykin has announced during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. 

The act of terrorism was aimed to destroy a major object of critical civil infrastructure, the Investigative Committee’s Chair added.

The attack was committed on October 8. It resulted in the death of 5 people.  A criminal case over terrorism was opened.
