MOSCOW, October 4 (RAPSI) – The Russian government has approved a bill on the procedure of recognizing multiple family dwellings as dilapidated housing, according to a statement of the Cabinet of Ministry.
The bill is to be submitted to the State Duma soon.
Amendments are proposed to the Housing Code of the Russian Federation and the Law Concerning the Support Fund for the Reform of the Housing and Utilities Sector.
The document amends the Housing Code as concern to reasons, order and criteria of declaring multiple family dwellings dilapidated. Moreover, the bill envisages a special procedure of compensations for seized accommodation in dangerous multi dwelling units.
The bill has been drafted in the fulfillment of the order of the Russian President in order to create new mechanisms of rehousing of citizens from untenable dwellings ensuring observance of housing rights set by legislation.
