MOSCOW, July 13 - RAPSI. The State Duma adopted in the second reading a draft law on granting the foreign agent status to nonprofit organizations financed from abroad and involved in politics on Friday.
The third reading will be held in several minutes. The deputies are now making their final statements before the adoption of the law. President Vladimir Putin's proposals were taken into account during the draft law's preparation.
For instance, upon his suggestion, the law will not apply to religious organizations, state corporations and companies, and nonprofit organizations set up by these institutions.
State, municipal and budget-finaced institutions will also not be subject to the law.
