KIEV, August 28 (RAPSI) – Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has signed an executive order banning military exports and the delivery of certain dual-purpose equipment, which are those having both commercial and military applications, to Russia, the statement published on Thursday on the presidential website reads.

The executive order is based on the resolution of the National Security and Defense Council which was classified.

Ukrainian government was asked recently to come up with measures to prevent exports of military and dual-purpose products to Russia, except equipment used for peaceful space exploration and international space programs.
