MOSCOW, January 20 (RAPSI) – Russian president Vladimir Putin believes that current threshold for grave economic crimes of 250,000 rubles ($3125) may be increased “about five times”.

This statement was made at the Russian forum for entrepreneurs called “Small business – national idea?”.

“Of course you have to differentiate. If we are talking about large amount of damage then it’s certainly not 250,000; [threshold – ed.] may be increased about five times, this problem should receive more attention”, Putin said at the forum.
