MOSCOW, June 13 (RAPSI) – A legislative commission of the Russian government has approved a bill introducing tax free system in the country.

According to the government, the bill seeks to allow citizens of countries without state-membership in the Eurasian Economic Union to receive compensations for value-added tax (VAT) paid in Russia.

Authors of the bill propose to grant a right to exclude VAT payments from tax-paying organizations, such as retailers providing goods to foreign citizens. The bill establishes 0% VAT rate for organizations providing VAT compensation services to foreign citizens.
