MOSCOW, April 27 (RAPSI) – The government of Russia has submitted a bill specifying a procedure for reopening criminal cases to the State Duma, according to the database of the parliament’s lower house.
Under the bill, a prosecutor or an investigation body chief would be eligible to overturn an order of prosecution or case termination within a year. After the running of this term, such orders may be revoked only pursuant to a court ruling.
