MOSCOW, November 21 (RAPSI) – A deputy chair of Russia’s State Duma Irina Yarovaya has drafted a bill toughening regulations of fire smoothbore weapon acquisition, the United Russia party’s website reads.
The bill envisages establishing a special procedure of receiving a hunting permit and a firearms acquisition license for persons aged from 18 to 21, who have not served in the military and for whom hunting is not a traditional way of life, according to the bill.
The initiative is aimed to provide appropriate protection of citizens’ life and health, according to Yarovaya. It has been already backed by the State Duma relevant committees.
