MOSCOW, May 28 (RAPSI) – Russia’s Justice Ministry is developing a bill envisaging establishment of online mechanism for the settlement of disputes, according to the ministry’s statement.

Amendments would be proposed to the consumer rights protection law and the law on mediation.

Currently, there is no legal framework of online adjustment of disputes.

The necessity of implementing such a system of mechanisms stems from the increasing number of consumers’ complaints related to online purchases and rendering online services.
