MOSCOW, October 9 (RAPSI) - The Anti-Corruption Foundation, a nonprofit organization established by opposition politician Alexey Navalny, has been added to the list of NGOs acting as foreign agents, information published on the website of Russia’s Justice Ministry on Wednesday reads.

The decision was adopted based on the Federal Law on NGOs, according to the statement.

The fact of the organization’s conforming to the “foreign agent criteria” has been established during the monitoring of its activity conducted by the Justice Ministry’s Moscow Main Directorate, the website informs.

The Anti-Corruption Foundation is NGO investigating, exposing and fighting corruption among high-ranking Russian government officials, according to the organization’s website. It was founded in 2011 and is financed solely by donations from its supporters.
