MOSCOW, November 8 (RAPSI) – The Justice Ministry is drafting a bill on monthly compensations for families of officers of Russia’s Federal Penitentiary Service (FSIN), Federal Customs Service and State Fire-Fighting Service, who have died in the line of duty, the ministry’s statement reads.

Amendments will be proposed to the law on granting social guarantees to employees of certain federal bodies.

The bill stipulates agreement of monthly compensation payments to members of families and parents of officers killed or died from personal injuries they had received performing their duties or from illness acquired during their service career.

Currently, a similar compensation is set for relatives of the fallen officers of the internal affairs bodies.
