MOSCOW, May 27 (RAPSI) – The State Duma adopted a bill on e-learning and state final examination at times of emergencies in the second and third readings on Wednesday, according to a statement of the lower house of parliament.
The bill envisages fine tuning of distance learning under the unique conditions caused by emergencies or epidemics, when it becomes impossible to ensure the continuity of the educational process, the document reads.
The initiative reads that the use of electronic technologies when traditional studying or examinations are impossible will be applied regardless of restrictions stipulated in the federal educational standards or the list of professions not envisaging only use of distance educational technologies.
Amendments are to be introduced into the Law on Education.
