MOSCOW, April 14 (RAPSI) – The Justice Ministry of Russia is developing a bill to use modern digital technologies in criminal proceedings, according to Russia’s Justice Minister Konstantin Chuichenko.
The initiative in particular envisages the possibility of remote participation in investigative activities and court hearings of criminal cases, he said during the extended meeting of the Justice Ministry’s collegium on Wednesday.
The main purpose in legislative drafting activities for the current year is the completion of work on the complex reforming of legislation on administrative offences and liability, the Minister also stated.
