MOSCOW, August 9 (RAPSI) – Lawmakers on Monday proposed to prohibit people committing assaults on Russian-speaking persons abroad from entering Russia, according to a statement published on the State Duma website.
On Monday, the State Duma’s Council decided to prepare a request addressed to the Kyrgyz parliament’s chair seeking to take the personal control over the situation concerning an attack against a female seller, who spoke Russian with a buyer.
State Duma MPs propose to draft response measures including travel ban for people committing such actions against Russian speakers, Chairman of the lower house of Russian parliament Vyacheslav Volodin stated.
