MOSCOW, June 14 (RAPSI) – Russian lawmakers have submitted a bill to the State Duma, the lower house of parliament, proposing to consider websites advertising tobacco products as information prohibited for spreading.
According to the initiative’s authors, it’s aimed to regulate a pre-trial procedure for restricting access to the sites containing certain information about tobacco products and correlates policy to curb the usage of that kind of products among youth with the government.
The bill has been submitted by eight members of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) fraction.
