TVER, August 24 - RAPSI. Minister of the Interior, Rashid Nurgaliyev, says individuals without a legal education will no longer be offered employment in the police force. In addition, current police officers with no such education will have to be certified in specialized courses.

"We will not hire anybody for a law enforcement position without a legal education any longer," said Nurgaliyev at a meeting with police officers in Tver on Wednesday.

According to Nurgaliyev, the ministry is working on specialized courses to educate all police officers who lack a legal education.
