MOSCOW, September 30 - RAPSI. Moscow police discovered over 100 Internet offences in the first eight months of 2011. The police also spotted 150 web-sites promoting child pornography, Moscow police chief Vladimir Kolokoltsev said on Friday.
Kolokoltsev also said that economic offences are the most common in the cyber space.
The Interior Ministry is expected to launch "Stop pedophiles!" campaign to stop children pornography on the Internet.
Kolokoltsev also congratulated all the Internet users, bloggers and web specialists with the Day of the Internet in Russia.
