MOSCOW, November 28 - RAPSI. Domodedovo airport customs service has submitted to investigators materials of its inquiry into an illegal import of Nokia products worth $206,000, the customs office reported on Monday.
According to the report a Russian company declared goods marked as "Smart Wireless Devices" to the Domodedovo Customs on August 22.
Experts appraised the counterfeit shipment's value as $206,000.
"Nokia" and "Nokia Connecting People" trademarks are on the customs intellectual property register, so the customs officers sent a request to Nokia Corporation's Russian office. Nokia representative in Russia responded that the seized goods were imported without the titleholder's consent.
Investigators have opened a criminal case.
