MOSCOW, October 19 - RAPSI. The Foreign Ministry is developing a mechanism to pay the legal fees of Russian citizens who find themselves in difficult situations abroad, Consular Department Deputy Director Alexander Prosvirkin has stated at a press conference on Friday.

"We are developing a fee-based legal services financing mechanism, which is required to support Russian citizens abroad," he said.

He added that today diplomats can only help Russians find a lawyer, but not pay their legal fees.
