MOSCOW, March 6 - RAPSI. The Russian government has forwarded a bill to parliament on social allowances for family members of deceased judges who cannot work, the State Duma told RIA Novosti on Wednesday.
The bill, which was drafted in coordination with the Justice Ministry, will amend the laws on the status of judges and on pension guarantees for some categories of citizens.
The amendments stipulate the payment of social allowances to family members of deceased judges who cannot work, including to family members of judges who did not die from work-related causes.
The size of these allowances will depend on whether or not the judge died from a work-related cause, on the judge's salary or pension, the length of service as a judge, and the number of dependents of the judge.
