LONDON, May 5 (RAPSI) - Boris Berezovsky's family may postpone his funeral, initially scheduled for May 6, so as to avoid as much publicity as possible, a source close to the deceased businessman's family and friends told RIA Novosti on Monday.
Although the information is confidential, he admitted that the ceremony is most likely to take place not at London's Gunnersbury Cemetery, as some media have reported.
A source in the Thames Valley police told RIA Novosti that Berezovsky would be buried in the county of Surrey, but did not say at which cemetery.
According to reports, Berezovsky's daughters strongly object to their father's funeral being turned into a major media event. His friends said they did not know any details of the funeral plans.
The 67-year-old billionaire was found by his bodyguard in the bathroom of his house on Mill Lane, Ascot, Berkshire, on March 23. The results of a post-mortem examination found the cause of death to be consistent with hanging.
The official cause of Berezovsky's death will be announced after the police complete toxicology and histology examinations
