MOSCOW, December 11 (RAPSI) - A stricter set of conditions will apply to applications to the the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), starting on January 1, 2014, when a new court rule comes into effect. 

First, all incomplete applications will be rejected, to enable the court full consideration of each. According to the statement, “Any form sent to the Court must in [the] future be completed in full and accompanied by copies of the relevant documents.”

Second, for the period within which an application must be filed with the court to be interrupted, the application will have to satisfy the new criteria established by the rule. According to the statement: “The form must be sent to the Court, duly completed and accompanied by the relevant documents, within the period laid down by the Convention. Incomplete files will no longer be taken into consideration for the purpose of interrupting the running of the six-month period.”
