MOSCOW, December 18 (RAPSI) – Russia and Panama have signed an agreement to visa free travel for their citizens, Interfax reports on Thursday, citing the Russian Foreign Ministry statement.
The citizens of Russia and Panama will be able to enter, exit or transit via their countries without a visa for up to 90 days every 180 days starting with the first entry.
The Russian Foreign Ministry said that those who plan to stay longer than 90 days or to work or engage in commercial activity in the partner country will need to obtain a visa.
The agreement was signed by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and the Vice President and Foreign Minister of the Republic of Panama, Isabel de Saint Malo, on December 9, 2014. It will come into effect on February 8, 2015.
